Soil Moisture Meter Blows
I bought a meter and a light from Brite Labs. When I received my items, the meter packaging looked like a returned item. The moisture meter lasted almost a full 30 seconds. The meter itself worked fine until I pulled it out of the soil to check another plant. One probe stayed in the soil, ripping out of the meter itself and breaking the wire connection. One other note: The light I purchased was 50% cheaper if I had ordered it from Amazon instaed.

This has been working great since I received it. I have never had a moisture meter before and it makes knowing when to water so much easier. Sometimes I'm not sure if the soil in a pot is ready for water and this has prevented over watering of succulents, and knowing when the soil is no longer moist enough for my plants that like moist soil. I have noticed it is accurate when I push it into dry soil and after watering because it absolutely changes readings. No more guessing. Happy plants. Less worry. I like it and am getting one for my daughter and one for a friend.
